CICARUEe OLADITOIOE AIXEVT. (Received 12 soon.) LONDON, December 23. The death i» announced' of Charles Gladstone Allen, one of the famous twin international la*n tennis players.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.) .' He wae horn in Bedfordshire in 1868, eon of the Rev. H. B. Allen, and twin brother of E. R. Allen. Hβ represented Cambridge against -Oxford in 1880-91, and in the doubles, with ■Wβ broCoer, achieved a remarkable number of tournament successes, reaching the Allcomers' Final at Wimbledon in 1896. The family resides in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, "the garden town of England." MR. J. W. BIELSOK, M.I.A. SYDNEY, December 23. The death is announced of Mr. J. W.
