LINER REACHES FORT. FIRE UNDER CONTROL FEEMANTLE, September 19. When the Federal liner Nprthumberland, which sent a radio message that her Xo. 4 hold -seas on fire, arrived, the lire was still smouldering, ibut was under control. The outbreak started on Friday last. The crow had an anxious time. They kept the flames in check, however, until the steamer reached port. The hold ivhere the fire started contains over 1000 begs of parcels ]iost mails for the various States, besides general cargo, including rubber goods.
