BIG PROPERTY DEALS.

FOUR CITY BLOCKS SOLD FOR £74,500. Important city properties continue to change ownership, and during the past few days four important deals have to be recorded. The first of these wae the sale of Messrs. Miller and Poulgrain'a block, in Karangahape Road, the land having a frontage of 108 ft and a depth of 99ft, [ carrying a three-storey block of six I shops. The sale was effected by Messrs. I .Samuel Vaile and Sons, Ltd., at The same firm also put through the sale jto the same buyers of the late Mr. j Porter's property, adjoining the Newton Post Office, and containing thereon , four two-storey brick shops, for £21,000. Tim allotment has a frontage of 70ft and a depth of 100 ft. Through the agency of Messrs. Samuel Vaile and Sons, Ltd.. the National Bank of New Zealand has purchased thn corner of Queen and Rutland Streets, with the buildings thereon, for £17,500. The land measures' 29ft 7in by 90ft, and it is the intention of the Bank to establish a branch on the site. Messrs. Hansen and Peel acted on behalf of the vendor Mr. F. W. Fisher. Through the agency of Messrs. Vaile and Sons the corner of Rutland and Lome Street, measuring 83ft by 80ft, with a two-storey building has been sold for £8500. "'
