BIRD FANCIERS
NEW CLUB FORMED. At a meeting of bird fanciers last evening members of the recently formed Pigeon and Bantam Fanciers' Club agreed to rescind their decisions reached at four previous meetings and to join together and form one strong club, to be called the North Island Bantam, Fancy Pigeon, and Canary Club. Mr. Geo. Ambler occupied the chair, and was elected president of the new club, the other officers elected being:— Vice-president, Miss C. Ambler and Messrs. W. A. Hanson, J. M. Thompson, A. E. Buckley, J. Nixon, A Wood, G. R. Richardson, W. Mason, and A. Palmer; joint secretaries and treasurers, Messrs. R. C. Hooper and ___. J. R McLaren; committee, Messrs. Ball, Wilson, Maitland, Sparkes, Duncan, Hanson, Woods, Prentice, and Mason, jun. The committee is to draw up rules, to be submitted to a general meeting at the earliest possible date.
