SINISTER ACTIVITY. CHALLENGE TO CAPITAIJSTS. LONDON, September 4. The "Daily Telegraph" publishes a letter from Barry Pollitt, Industrial Secretary of the Communist party in Great Britain. This states :■—■ "We are working to transform the, trade unions from purely pacific organisations into a mass of organisations for revolutionary activity. We will gradually be able to -weed out the reactionary leaders of Labour. "Then we Bhall be in a position to finally . challenge the forces of the capitalist."—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
