ELECTION OF OFFICERS. (By Telesraph.—Press Assoclatlou.l i DUNEDIN, Thursday. The National Council-of Women today adopted a resolution to be forwarded to the Prime 'Minister and the Ministers of Health and Education, setting fotth that any lowering of the qualification for denistry, as prescribed' by the New Zealand University, would be a menace to public health. It was decided to urge that the age of consent be raised to 18. Tlie following officers were elected: — Dominion president, Miss Kane (Wellington); Dominion secretary, Mrs. Forde (Wellington); (Dominion treasurer, Miss Jackson.
