A resident of Mount Eden, who lfas a fancy goods shop in Cpper Queen Street, Mr. William Thomas Herbert, was talking to a business caller at his shop just after mid-day to-day when he was seized with a heart attack. Medical aid was at once summoned, but Dr. Share, who was called in, arrived just in time to pronounce life extinct. Mr. Herbert, who conducted the business known as the London Bazaar Company, was a mnrricd man, 52 years of age, and lived at Xo. 5, Emma Street, off Dominion Road.
