King and Queen,attended the consecration of the new Cathedral at Liverpool, costing £2,000,000. When completed it will be the third largest in the world. Seven archbishops, 40 bishops, and 25 deans participated. It was a supremely impressive service. The King's speech at a civic reception at Wells after the consecration service was broadcasted all over Britain.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
