A NEW ZEALAND LOAN.
SATISFACTORY FLOTATION. LONDOX, July 20. A satisfactory incident in connection with the London money market in the past fortnight has been the placing privately of £ 1,000.000 worth of New Zealand 4 J per cent stock at £95, the same terms on which the £5.000.000 loan was floated in Hay. This £1.000.000 was placed without affecting the market in any way, and its sale shows how easily the market can absorb large issues ef capital of this sort.— (A. and K.Z.)
