DONATION TO SAILORS' HOME.

[ Donations 'by his Excellency the Governor-General, Viscount Jellicoe, Messrs. Winston, Ltd., and L. D. Nathan and Company, Ltd., to tbe funds of the Sailors' Homo were acknowledged in a report presented to the finance committee of the home last evening. A substantial cheque had : been enclosed | by the last-named firm on behalf of the ' Shaw, Sarill and Albion Company. A bequest by llrs. Caroline Dawson, re- I ceived through Messrs Parr, Blomfield, Alexander and Burt was also acknowledged.
