AFFAIRS IN TONGA. (Received 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. The general secretary of the Methodist Missionary Society of Australasia has cabled the Rev. Mr. Page chairman of the society's mission at Tonga concerning recent statements relating to disturbances there. He has received a reply denying the whole report stating that everything is peaceful.— (A. and X.Z. Cable.) VICTORIAN PRODUCE. MELBOURNE, this day.
