FAMILY MAINTENANCE ACT CASE.

An application for maintenance, under the provisions of the Family Maintenance Act, was made Ut> Mr. Justice Herdman in the Supreme Court to-day by Mr. T. C. Thomson, on behalf of Lillian Marie Millar and Irene Bartleet, of v v .ilveruope, widow and daughter of William Marshall Millar, marine engineer, deceased. Respondent was Albert \ nor , Fraer, solicitor, of Aucklan 1 ., trustee of the estate, for whom Mr. Flynn appeared. By consent of parties, his Honor made an order for the payment out of the estate of £750. The sole beneficiary under the will was Andrew Pollock, dentist, of Melbourne.
