ONEHUNGA TRAM SERVICE.

DUPLICATION OF LINE.

After the final tram car left Onetiunga last night a gang of men was put on to remove the loop line and make the necessary connection in Queen Street, just above Church Street, and part of another one near Geddes' Basin. This morning, tram cars were able to use the double line from Auckland to the loop line at Duthie's corner, which is only a short distance from the Onehunga terminus. The work of paving between the lines from Church Street to the terminus has yet to be done.
