PIGEON FLYING.
CORNWALL RACING PIGEON CLUB. The Cornwull Club held the above race from Ohakune on Good Friday. The birds were liberated by the stationuiaster in Ideal weather. The winner turned up in Mr. D. Pearce's b c _ Kilbroney, who wins the gold medal presented by Mr. R. Fullerton, sen. Results are as follows:— Mr. D. Pearce's bee Kilbroney, 1120 yds per minute 1 Mr. R. Fullcrton's b c c Reindeer, 1118 yds ■_> Mr. It. Tapper's bcli Sunglow, 1111 yds 3 Mr. C. Preston's b c c Ormonde, 1000 yds 4; Mr. J. Llneham's blk c Jester, 1090 yds. LADIES' RACE. There was keen competition in this race, which was flown on Saturday from Huntly The birds were liberated iv perfect flying weather. Each lady had to nominate and clock her bird. Miss W. Neighbour was successful with Dorothy Dimple, and won the approporiate trophy presented by Mr L. Lineham. Results are as follow: Mr. C. Preston's (Missj W.
