SFNIOR INSPECTORS CHANGE. MR. GARRARD VISITS WANGANUI. Mr. C. W. Garrard, 8.A., Senior Inspector of Schools in the Auckland Education District, leaves by the Main iruiiK express to-morrow evening to take charge of the Wanganui district for a period of three months. "With the object of erideavourin- to secure a uniform standard of appraisement in the grading of primary school teachers, and of securing an interchange of opinions on educational matters throughout the various inspectorates, the Minister of Education recently decided that, all senior inspectors should temporarily exchange districts. Mr, W. W. Bird, senior inspector in Hawkes Bay, takes over the Auckland area from the beginning of April
