Prominent Episcopalian laymen have begun a series of conferences between the bishops and recalcitrant ministers at which an endeavour is being made to reconcile differences. Sermons on Sunday covered a wide range. Some Episcopalian ministers urged the foundation of a separate Modernist Church.
