XeAIJCAWAHIA, Tuesday. j A four-roomed house, owned by llr. [ |T. Clayton and occupied by Mr. H. ; JDinnis, was destroyed by fire "on Catur- | day night. Mr. Binnis, whose family was away on holiday, was awakened by the sound of - the kitchen roof col! lapsing. He manajred to escape by the front door, bat all he caved was tie < clothe* he was wearing. Mr. Binnis lost all .his furniture, ef- i feets and tools, also a sum of money in ! notes. His effects were insured for a' small amount.
