DUNEDIN'S EXHIBITION.
1 > (By Telegraph—Special to "Star.") DUNEDIN, this day. At a meeting of exhibition directors, Mr. Peter Barr, in reporting on the Chambers of Commerce conference which he attended at Auckland, said that the Press Association reports to the Dunedin papers were very full and accurate, but the Auckland papers gave very poor reports and the subject of the exhibition was dismissed in a couple of ii_es. The. Mayor (Mr. Gunson) in the opening speech had played right into their hands. Even though he did not know that the matter of the exhibition was to be discussed. Mr. Gunson had said that there should be a spirit of dominionism. not provincialism. Opposition or <V.ndrance in one province affected other provinces.
