WELLINGTON, this day. | The figures of the dairy division of ! the Department of Agriculture showthat the salted butter graded for November, was 8265 tons, and the unsalted 539 tons, a total of 9104 tons, compared with 8906 tons salted and 718 tons unsalted, a total of 9624 tons for November of last year; a decrease of 5.4 per cent. For the four months ended November, the respective quantities were: 20,274 tons and 1333 "tons, a total of-21,607 tons, compared with 23,993 and 1912 tons, a total of 25,90.1 tons; a decrease of 16.5 per cent. The cheese graded for November, comprised: White 7076 tons, coloured 4076 tons, a total of 11,161 tons, compared with 5013 tons white, and 3074 tons coloured, a total of 8089 tons ;an increase of 37.8 per cent. The quantities for the four months ended November, 1923, were: White 13,591 tons, coloured 5338 tons, a total of 21,929 tons, compared with 7387 tons white, and 4417 tons coloured; a total of 11.804; an increase of 85.7 per cent. Converting these figures into butterfat equivalent there is an increase of 1.2 in butterfat production for the four months, as compared with the corresponding period of 1922-23. Stocks held in tlie various grading ports at November 30 were: Butter 3571 tons, and cheese 7053 tons.
