IMPROVED TIME-TABLE.

Yesterday the new and improved suburban railway time-table came into operation. Additional early morning and evening trains to and from Papakura and Swanson and the city, and an extra afternoon train to Henderson were well patronised, and gTeater traffic is expected as soon as the public become familiar with the new timetable.

The new week-day time-table tvas in force to-day. The Rotorua and Thames expresses were run separately, the former leaving the city at 10.5 a.m. and the latter at 0.12 a.m. An extra train was run from Frankton, arriving in the city at 11.2 a.m., and the 4 p.m. return train will be speeded up this evening so as to arrive at Frankton at 8.25 p.m., instead of 9.10 p.m., as formerly.
