An Auckland merchant commenting to-day upon the fact f.iai Auckland berries were much superior to the southern grown fruit, said it was this fact alone that accounted for the increasing sales of Auckland consign- . raente in the South. He said that there was no truth in an alleged statement that concessions were made by the RailUvav Department to Auckland merchants.
