A confirmation service was held yesterday morning at Christ's Church, tllerslie. Dr. A. W. Averill. Anglican Bishop of Auckland, confirmed 2<j candidates. The service, which was an impressive one, was so largely attended that it was necessary to place chairs in tlie aisle of the churcli.
Collection for War Memorial Fund next week. Help to maintain Auckland's reputation for generosity by giving liberally.—(Ad.)
