The market for cattle was lifeless, showing a decline for - both fat and itare cattle on late rites. _ At Te Kuiti there -was a fair yarding nt sheep and heavy yarding of cattle. Sheep met with keen competition, fully malntaiTi- . ing late rate*, with the exception of far [ aheep. which were slightly easier.
