ROAD DISTRICT TO REMAIN. ONE TREE HILL'S DECISION. Very few of the ratepayers of the One Tree Hill Road District voted yesterday on the proposal to change the status of the district to that of a borough, but the majority of those who did declared themselves to be averse to an alteration. Of 124S ratepayers entitled to \-ote only 373 exercised their right. The result of the poll was as follows: — For tne proposal ~ 12> Against the proposal 25i The largest number of votes were cast at the Road Board offices, in ilanukaU Road.
