GAME AGAINST WAIKATO, PLAYED ON HEAVY GROUND; (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.^ HAMILTON, this daj. : The N\S.W. team of footttltaj arrived here last evening from Eotorui, where they had a wonderful time, though their stay was cut short. Owing to tie engine breaking down the train did not arrive till 5 o'clock. The -weather is threatening, and rain has made the ground heavy, which should favour the loal ; pack. The prospects are for a keen gut. Crowds are coming in from all rar- \ rounding districts. The teams are:— . New South Wales (light blue).Uothling, Bowers, Trousdale, Lowien, Crackenthorpe, Buntine, Sleagher, Divis, Taylor, Ferguson, Thorn, Thompson, Blackwood, Erby, Greatorex. South Auckland (black and white).— Malloy, Glenn, Niccol, Campbell, Kemp, Crawford, Wright, McLeary, Warren, Hooper, Pini, Gray, Delany, Sownm, Millington.
