The Farmers' Conference passed a resolution appealing to the Federal and Ptate (k>vernments to levy income tax on primary producers, based on five years' average, and to allow tbe debit years to be. carried forward.

The report of the committee in regard to the formation of a voluntary pool for the 1924 wheat crop has been adopted. It recommends the formation of a wheat corporation, with a nominal capital of; £500,000, the capital to be subscribed ■by the growers, who will pay one penny per bushel on all wheat.

One pound shares will lip issued to; subscribers to rover the amount subscribed upon wbh'h interest will be allowed. The general public will also be permitted to subscribe. — (A. and X.Z.)
