HEAVY FALL AT TAIHAPE. <Br Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TAIHAPE, this day. Snow commenced to fall at Taihape at 7 o'clock last night, and continued for over an hour. A very heavy fall occurred on the higher country, and Erewhon reports a fall of six inches. The hills surrounding Taihape were covered with snow this morning, and there were four inches of snow at Turangaarere. North of Taihape to Raurimu the snowfall was general, and the country is covered to a depth of about four inches. | 1 I
