THE STUDENTS PROCESSION.
n\i the Editor.) Sir. —T wish to remark on the orderly Aay in which the students conducted themselves on Friday last, when they indulged in their annual revels. I think I can. as one who witnessed the greater part of the day's programme, say that, their conduct was. considering (he occasion, perfectly good, and that it reflected great credit upeAi them. I fear that a great number ot' the public are inclined to be a little narrow-minded about the mutter, and look upon it with disfavour, but let them treat the boys well, and take everything in a sporting spirit, and they will have little of which to complain, although I am prepared to concede the fact that a few of the students are sometimes carried away by the high spirits with which they seem to be 90 full on cupping days. Allow we to say that the whole proceedings were, by others as well as myself, thoroughly appreciated from start to finish.—l am. etc.. IVAX SINCLAIR.
