Eri?r are again cheaper this week, hens being quoted to-day at 2/4 retail and ducks 2/. Supplies are very heavy, but the lower prices ruling have increased consumption. Bacon nilea at from 7*d to 1/2 per 11) for cuts ami 1/2 to 1/4" for rashers Hams, whole, are quoted 1/1 to 1/2 retail, and In raßhers 1/6. Cheese is 1/2 To 1/4 per lb according to enre. while bntter remains at 1/0, 1/8 and 1/7 for the respective grades.
The boisterous weather prevallinj; has lessened supplies of fresh fleh. Mokie was quoted at Kd per Ib retail to-day, hapuka lOd per Ib, and terekihi at htree lillets for 1/.
