. __ I PROGRESS OF TriE SCHEME. , The engineer for the Xorthoofe sewerI age scheme (Mr. F. E. Powell. C.E.) wrote Ito the Borough Council last ni»ht as follows:— c I "J have to report that all field work is now completed apart from minor alterations: all sections have been plotted, and grading i, now being completed on plans. The line of outfall sewer has been pegged out and plan submitted to the Auckland Harbour Board. With the lines of sewers as now defined, I do not think your Council will receive many complaints.'' Mr. A. W. Smith said there was no word when the engineer would have the plans completed. He had promised the plans two month? ago. It was decided to write Mr. Powell requesting him to hasten the completion of the plans.
