I Four stowaways were found on board ! the steamer Arawa after leaving Balboa on Mar 2S. en route from London to) Auckland, and on the arrival of the steamer at Auckland this morning they were handed over to the police. They will appear at the Police Court tomorrow morning. Six passengers from the Makura, who have been in quarantine at Hotuihi Island since May 17, were allowed to i land in Auckland to-day. They arrived ! here about one o'clock this iifternoou. i There arc seven of the mail steamer's passengers at the island. The patient from the Uimaroa. which arrived at Auckland from Sydney on .Time 13, is also detained in quarantine.
