ROY GOVERNOR'S ESCAPE.
(Received 9.30 a - m -) SYDNET, this day. Tho police tracked Roy Governor to his lair in dense scrub, and called on him to surrender. He refused, and invited the police to come on and have a go, holding his rifle at the ready. While the police were endeavouring to surround him he escaped.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
