CYCLIST'S PERILOUS RIDE.
DOWN EIFFEL TOWER STEPS. (Received 10 n.m.l PARIS, June 3. ■ Pierre a. cyclist, rode his machine down 350 stairs from the first platform of the Eiffel Tower, a height approximating 280 feet. After negotiating the first flight he hurt hie leg, but remounted and continued the descent at a furious pace. He landed safely in the midst of the spectators.—(A. and N.Z.)
