LABOUR MEMBER'S Blli. (Received 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, May 9. The House of Commons read a first time a bill introduced by Mr. A. A. W. H. Ponsonby (Labour member for Bright aide) to terminate hereditary titles, introduced under the ten minutes' rule. The bill allows the holder to renounce a title, and no lieir or heiress born after the Act is passed shall be allowed to succeed to v peerage.— (A. and X.Z. Cable.)
