FIRE AT ONEHUNGA.

The Onehunga Fire Brigade dealt with an outbreak at 1 o'clock this morning in a chop occupied by Mrs. A. E. Edwards, in Queen Street, Onehunga. When the fire was discovered by Constable Poll it had a good hold, with the result that the stock and fittings were completely destroyed. The brigade succeeded in saving the building and preventing the fire from spreading to the adjoining building. The shop is owned by H. Bray and Co., and is insured in the Now Zealand office for £100. The stock was not-, covered by insurance.
