TIMBER XVORKER'S DEATH. (By Telecraph.—Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, Thursday. Gustav Ericksen, a timber worker, middle-aged, was the victim of a train accident a mile west of Aick'm's station, on the Otira line. The stoker of the express saw him walking ahead of the train 100 yds distant, and whistled. The man turned then jumped on the line and lay down between the rails. The cowcatcher threw him 30ft into a ilitch causing severe injuries to the body, from which Ericksen succumbed an hour later on the train when being conveyed to (ireym.ou.tli.
