DAMAGING EVIDENCE AGAINST LEADER OF GANG. PARIS, May 3. The Scotland Yard authorities have given the French police a piece of damaging evidence ajffiinst William Warren, ttlio is alleged to be an international swindler. It consists of a letter written by iin Englishman named Ford, from tlir Snnte prison, to hip "dear old pal." notifying Warren of his arrest and aekinp him to send immediately an international money order for £14, to cell 03, Santo prison. The letter was addressed t< Cannon Street post oflice. Ford beinjs unaware Unit Warren al tlte time \va' in an adjoining cell. Thti* Ford is revealed as one of Warren's gang.— (A and X.Z. Cable.)
