After conRidoring several amendments it was decided by 50 votes to 41 thnt unions linviiifj under 30 teams be jjiven one vote. It was also : decided that the auniuil subscription be three <ruineae and one shilling for eacli team under control of the union, exclusive of primary school teams. It was decided to draw the attention of the Referees' Association to the fact that the rule relating to the Vflngforward was not being strictly interpreted. Mr. S. Dean's recommendation that the wine-forward lie abolished nnd the ttireo-two-three scrum adopted was ruled out of order. The Boundaries Committee recommended tlurt in order to make the various unions more equal the following districts should combine: Manawatu nnd Hnrnwhemta Unions: Wairarupa and j Rush. Bush to 1)0 n sub-union: East I Coast and Poverty Bay. East Coast to I he a sub-union: Thames Pub-Union to j be a sub-union of the Thames Valley j Tnion. A further recommendation that ' consideration he given to the division of I the Xorth Tsland into five main districts, | Auckland. South Auckland. Hawke's IBny, Taranaki, and Wellington, wag referred to the incoming executive. Regarding selectors, it was decided to recommend the executive that a body of five men l>e chosen in each islnnd, three from the major unions and two from tile smaller unions.
