IMPERIAL ECONOMIC CONFERENCE.
IMPORTANCE TO DOMINIONS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMERSTOX NORTH, this day. Speaking at the Dairy Farmers' Union Conference, Air. Jessep. vice-chairman of the Meat Control Board, referred to the Imperial Economic Conference to be held in London in October. He s-aid h« I>plioved no conference ever held would be of such great importance to the Empire, particularly to the people of this Dominion as the Economic Conference. "At that conference," be said, "the question of trade within the Empire would be dealt with. I know from personal experience gained while in England, Where I came into contact with the British Premier and other prominent people, that this movement is growing hy leaps and bounds in Britain." Mr. Jessep suggested that it was their duty to impress upon members of Parliament to see the Premier was enabled to represent the Dominion.
