SECONDARY SCHOOLS.
NEW CHIEF INSPECTOR. illy Telegt.'l-h. Press Association.! WELLINGTON", this day. Mr. Edward James Parr. M.A.. B.Sc., has been appointed to the position of chief inspector of secondary schools. vice Mr. .1. Drummond, M.A., who was recently appointed headmaster of the Auckland Boys' Grammar School. Mr. Parr was, early in his career, engaged as assistant master at the Nelson College. Te Ante College, and at Napier Boys' High School. He was subsequently employed at the Otago Boys' High School as science master from Mflo to 1018, and was then appointed to the position o« inspector of secondary schools under Mr. T. R. Cresswell, M.A.. now headmaster at Wellington.
