NEW ZEALAND AWARDS. (Received 1.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, this day. Show championship awards include the following:—Stallions: Bloods, Gall's Xizan; trotting, Belmont Stud's Grand Voyage; hackneys, Swannell's Traveller.

Despite a bad season, the district agricultural exhibits are excellent and of a wide range. South Coast and tablelands district takes first honours.

The stud cattle sales in connection with the chow disclose a <»ood demand at firm prices for best quality lots. Other classes are slow of sale.

Hereford?. —Cow, four years or over: Gay Leonora 1, Gay Amethyst 2. Bull, one year and a half and under two: Gay Mansel 35, 2. Bull, one year and under 18 months: Gay Mansel 39, h.o. All were from the New Zealand estate of Mr. Donald Mackenzie.

iMr. Parkinson, president of the New Zealand Milking Shorthorn Association, speaking to the- Australian Association, said Ire was unpleasantly surprised when inspecting Australian cattle. -With the exception of the top notchers local cattle were inferior to New Zealand. He had seen a few fine animals, but the average was poor.
