j A fully-attended meeting of Hip Stanley . Hay Ratepayers' Association was held in I HiR bowling pavilion last nißht. Mr. I-. J. I llaHf]den presiding. It was reported that, a deputation from the Association, introduced by Mr. John Henderson, had interj viewed the chairman and the engineer of the Harbour Hoard in repaid to tilllUK up (ho park area with the suction dredge. Mr. Mackenzie had received the deputation most Kyinputhetlcully, and the engineer (Mr. 1 Tamer) had promised to get levels of the area taken to see what nllius would be required, and to submit a report to tbe Morough Council an to the actual cost of I the work.
