REDSKINS ON WARPATH.

ONE KILLED, TEN CAPTURED. A DEFIANT LEADER. SALT LAKE CITY, March 23. The Utah sheriff's forces killed one Indian and captured ten in a fresh skirmish in the Piute warfare. A posse drove the Indians back against a cliff wall, capture seeming inevitable. One renegade mounted a rock and fired into the posse and the ten stood defiant until a bullet felled him headlong down the rocky slope. The others then surrendered. — (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
