ADVANCED PORTRAITURE.

PERFECT XEW PROCESS.

THE AUSTRAL ART COMPANY. Something strikingiy advanced in photography was brought to the notice of a "Star" reporter to-day, when the expert portrait work of the newly J formed Austral Art Company, was exhibited for criticism. The new company : which will feature nothing but highclass photographic productions, will open up its offices and studio on the third j floor. Victoria Arcade, just after Easter, I when the public will have the privilege 'of viewing the work which is done by I a new secret process. The company is ; fortunate in having secured the services lof a man, who was a student of the J Royal Art Club in London, and for five j years chief operator in the Royalty Studio, Paris, where nothing but royalty patronage was received. The unique perfection of the large portraits displayed before the writer certainly re- . fleets great credit on the producer, j especially when one was shown the small j and somewhat defective originals from I which they were taken. GUARANTEED WORK. The Austral Art Company guarantees ; that all its portraiture will be better J than any originals presented. It is j learned that the secret of the success ! attained is due also to what is called '■ composite photography, which has been i evolved after twenty years experiments. j The new process is so effective that any I number of separate photos can be set to-1 ! gether and reproduced in perfect group: ' form that is surprisingly natural and correct to detail. The Austral Company has a distinct advantage with its I magnificent reproducing photography j and should win prompt and distinctive I patronage. For the present inquiries lor orders can be left at Room 314, VieJ toria Arcade.
