TO VISIT AUCKLAND. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Advice has been Received that the Unit!ed States st,p Ontario, attached to the naval etation of American Samoa is to visit Auckland towards the end of next month for purposes of docking and overhaul. It is quite possible that ' the Governor of American Samoa (Captain Edwin Pollock), with several naya : station officers, will accompany the ship. The Ontario is a steel screw steamer of 3099 tons, built at New York in 1904 for the Merchants' and Miners' Transportation Company. Her principal dimensions are: Length 292 ft, breadth, : 42ft, depth 15|ft.
