CAIRO, March 8.
Field-Marshal Sir E. Allenby has issued a proclamation that persons found guilty by court-martial of possessing bombs and explosives will be liable to the death penalty. The new Zaghlulist Committee announces that it will continue within the limits of the law its campaign for Honour and liberty, and declaring that bloodshed cannot serve the cause. It claims that isolated acts should not be allowed to affect a case founded on justice.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)

The authorities are offering a reward equal to £10,000 for the apprehension of the criminals concerned in the bombing outrages, also £1000 to the captor of any future aggressor.— (Reuter.)
HOPE OF HOME RULERS.
(Received 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, March 8. The "Morning Post's" Cairo correspondent says that in view of the agitations in Britain for withdrawals from Mesopotamia and Palestine on financial grounds it is felt that the British Government's bands are tied as regards E gypt- It is believed that the British taxpayers would rather evacuate Egypt than pay for garrisoning it until the country is fit to relieve England of all local government responsibilities.— (A. and N. 2.
