DUNEDIX WOOL SALES. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.^ DUXEDIN. this day. A total of 21,334 bales are catalogued for the third wool sale, on Friday. COUNTY STOCK SALES. Messrs. Dalgety ana Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report: — At 'the Fellding sale on Friday, 2nd inst., there was a rerjr large ynrdln.; of shpep and a medium eritry of cattle. The better class of ewes met with keeu competition; but medium and inferior sorts showed a decided drop in values. There was a very fair demand for lanil»s, nut prices .were inclined to be easier all round. There was practically no demand 'for j?rown bullocks and all lines were passed at auction. Sheep.—Sinalr limbs, 11/ to iv. cood w..f lambs. 16/ to 17/6: w.f. ewe lambs. 21/8; b.f. ewe lambs, 17/ to 19/; =ood. t0 good 4-year/ewes. 27/0/127/8, to 29/ i: twotooth ewes. 27/ to' 2fl'ti: four and six-tooth ewes, 28/, fat ewes 22/ to 23/6; fat wethers 28/ to SI/: fat lambs, 25/ to 28/3; B.d. rams, m.n.. three to eight guineas: good twotooths, to 13 guineas. Whanjrarel, Pakotai. Kalkohe and Ohaeawai, and report good sales throughout. There were full yardings in all places, and all classes of sheep were keenly sousht after, especially good young ewes' of which there was rather a scarcity. 'Wetherw were also in keen demand, and met with a ready sale. In all cases there was fl total clearance.
