HIS OWN DEATH CERTIFICATE,
.SIGNED BY A DOCTOR. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH. this day. Writing to a friend in Chrlstc'iurch, Mr. Thomson, headmaster of Te One School, Chatham Islands, states that some peculiar features were connected with the death of Dr. Alexander. Tie deceased gntlcman kept a history of his own illness, and warned a policeman that his death might take place at any moineii'. He had a heart attack, and was expecting another, which he felt would end fatally. II- left a statement giving ihc cause of his death, and practically signing his ~wn death certificate. He leaves a widow and child, who reside in Dunedin. The hue doctor was well liked and his death i.-, regretted by all who knew him.
