OFFICIALS KEPT BUSY. WASHINGTON, February 23. Tlie Treasury Department has announced that ' 15.4.-0,000 dollars were spent in the last fiscal year in the enforcement of national prohibition, and that 44 per cent of the work of the Federal district attorneys was consumed in tlie preparation of the trials of offenders.
