The Krep State military headquarters officially deny the reported capture of Mr. <le Yalera and other Republican lenders, but confirm the capture of Scan Fitzpatrick. acting officer commanding the Dublin Brigade of Republicans. Oetectivcs arrested over 20 men in Dublin. Seven men were taken in a raid to-day in which Fitzpatrick was captured. It is reported that detective* arrested five of the principal irregular leaders at an army council meeting at Dnimcondra. Authorities are very reticent regarding the names. Two men were charged at Birkeuhe.ad with being in possession of ammunition. The men were seen leaving a tramcar. As it was known that a boat was leaving for Ireland they were followed to it. Detectives searched them and found 1700 rounds of pistol ammunition in their belts. A mine and bomb factory were discovered in a house at South Circular Road. Dublin. The seizures included fully detonated mines. 16 bombs, various ammunition detonators, machine-gun parts and a huge quantity of bomb components. Many arrests have been effected.
